Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is an upcoming Bollywood film produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the main lead . Both of them was last seen in " Student of The Year " which received good reviews from the critics & did good business at the Box Office . The music of the film is composed by three music directors Sachin - Jigar , Toshi Sabri & Jawad Ahmed . It will be a Romantic film . Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is all set to release on 11 July 2014.

According Bollywood Hungama Varun Dhawan's last film " Main tera Hero '' Collected 6.60 crore on the Opening Day , 22.73 Crore on the Opening Weekend & made a lifetime collection of 50.60 crore while Alia Bhatt's last film " 2 States'' Collected 12.42 crore on the Opening Day , 38.06 Crore on the Opening Weekend & made a lifetime collection of 102.13 crore . According to Box Office India, 2 States is the second highest overseas grosser of 2014 in Bollywood after Jai Ho .
